Wear a Work of Art

I still have the first pair of earrings I bought from Alene and wear them frequently. I could almost open my own store with all the cuffs, earrings, and necklaces I own of Alene’s. I admire and respect her talent. It has been wonderful to watch her jewelry progress over almost 20 years. What a pleasure to wear her talent. Always compliments!!
I was introduced to Alene’s Adornments through a customer from work (grocery industry). I loved the unique pieces that Alene creates. I purchased a ring and received it gift wrapped and very quickly. The ring is one of my favorites and I receive nice comments when I wear it.
I have bought several sets of earrings designed and made by Alene over the past few years. I am happy with the design and quality of all. Get many compliments when I wear them. also, once ordered the merchandise arrives on time. Would highly recommend purchasing one of her designs. Rating “5”.
Alene has a gift for creating the perfect, unique piece of jewelry. Her ability to combine copper and sterling creates pieces of jewelry that are second to none. Alene then adds pops of color to create a piece that will call your name. Always eagerly await her new designs to see what new amazing piece will call my name.
I really enjoy wearing my ‘Alene’s Adornments’ spiral earrings. They’re exactly what I want and like in an earring: authentic materials, light weight and beautiful design. I look forward to adding the next item to my collection of Alene’s creations. I highly recommend shopping here if you want beautiful jewelry, along with great service!
Alene is extremely talented her pieces are not only amazing they are well made at a reasonable price. She also will create custom pieces for you. I have several of her original and custom made pieces and love them all You will not be disappointed!
I like the uniqueness of Alene’s jewelry and the quality of her craftsmanship! Made with love!
Alene’s creations are not only beautiful, but truly unique. A rare find and appreciated for their one of a kind look and feel. Highly recommend!
After I purchased my first piece of jewelry from Alene…I was hooked. Her craftsmanship, detail and creativity is above and beyond. I will always look to her for gift ideas, and of course, treasures for myself too. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Have you ever wondered why carnelian, a fiery reddish-orange gemstone, has captivated people for thousands of years? Revered by ancient civilizations like the Egyptians and the Romans, carnelian was often worn as a talisman for courage and protection. It’s more than just a pretty stone—carnelian has deep roots in history, adorned royalty, and inspired legends. […]

What a beautiful piece of art you created! I have a friend who makes skin care products and sent her your blog. The way you designed it and teach us is amazing.
As far as color goes, I am really sensitive (not emotionally) and color affects me a lot. My home is three shades of muted gold to allow for rest at the end of the day. Some people come alive with lots of color, but I tend to do better with colors that are restful.
I can tell by your posts you are a positive person. This energy I’m sure will also be found in your jewelry.
alenegeed says
thanks for the great compliment Candess! I do feel that my energy and passion is reflected in each of my designs. In fact the design is never completed until I ‘feel’ it. I have been known to tear designs apart and start over if they dont speak to me

Beautiful explanation of color and corresponding emotions. Simple is best. I also learned a new to me word – dichroic glass: Multiple ultra-thin layers of different metals (such as gold or silver); oxides of such metals as titanium, chromium, aluminium, zirconium, or magnesium; or silica are vaporised by an electron beam in a vacuum chamber.
As for a favorite color, it can change throughout the day. I feel like a mood ring – only in full body alignment. I recognize where the emotions are and can perceive the color that resonates.
I do remember the big box of 84 crayolas. My most favorite back then was cornflower. I had to keep looking at the name because I could not imagine why that name to that crayola.
alenegeed says
Thanks so much Celea. I don’t remember the cornflower color. They still do pick strange names for new colors. There must be a committee somewhere that decides?

Love the article! I love lots of color, and mixing color. Wonder where that makes me fit? Love orange and blue, and then pick an accessory and tie together. Split personality:)
alenegeed says
I would call it Bery Creative! Sounds like fun to figure out accessories to tie two colors together. Thanks!

I love this presentation as I like art. In addition, I also like feng shui. It just so happened that my favorite color is green and that is my lucky color as I was born in a year where the element is wood.
