Moonstone has a colorful history.

Ancient Romans believed that this gem was actually a shard of solid moonlight. Those who peered into the stone might just see the Goddess Diana. Peering into the stone also guaranteed love and good fortune.

East Indians use moonstone to enhance divine wisdom.

The Art Nouveau Period in Europe. (1890-1910) used this gem as a centerpiece for many jewelry designs.
