Mother’s Day is right around the corner. This year (2022) it falls on Sunday May 8th. I love this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Mom. Sadly my Mom passed many years ago but I still spend extra time remembering her at this time of year. Her love for me was evident in the way she raised me. I cherish the memories of these times.

If you are lucky enough to have a mom that is still on this earth, this is the time to let her know how you feel about her. The jewelry designs I selected for this week are all One of a Kind. They are varied in style and price range. Every Mom IS different after all! Choose the design that you think your Mom will love.

Keep in mind that other women in our lives are special too. What about a wife and Mother of your children? or your grandmother, sister or sister in law. Don’t forget a special woman in your life that offered you friendship and guidance at times in your life when it was needed. Taking the time to honor these women will let them know how special they were to you.

I design often with my Mother in mind.

My Mom was creative. When we were younger, she always made the gifts we gave to our teachers at Christmas. Sometimes they were dried flower arrangements. Other times they were another craft idea. I remember feeling funny about giving this kind of gift instead of the usual handkerchief that most gave. But the response from my teachers was ALWAYS positive. What did they need with another handkerchief anyway? My gift was unique and creative. They loved it.

As I Create my jewelry designs the memory of my Mom is always with me. I feel she is guiding me many times to the best design for the gem I have chosen.
