Several Years Ago I was introduced to this delightful Dr Seuss book. [tweet_dis_img][/tweet_dis_img]
Most of you are familiar with this famous author of children’s books.
Theodor Seuss Geisel was born on March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He published his first children’s book, And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street, under the name of Dr. Seuss in 1937. Next came a string of best sellers, including The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. His rhymes and characters are beloved by generations.
I knew about many of his books of course, but this particular book was new to me. I LOVED it immediately! Every so often my copy finds it’s way to my night stand. Why?? Because ‘Oh the Places You’ll Go’ is meant for children AND adults.
It can be read in one sitting… and it packs a wallop!
Here is the opening page of the book. It sets the tone for a marvelous journey through your life. Each page offers a treatise on life… offering hope, encouraging us to dream big and reach for the stars
[tweet_box design=”default” float=”none”]Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away!”[/tweet_box]
These words of wisdom help us get the most from our journey in life.
“You won’t lag behind because you’ll have the speed. You’ll pass the whole gang and you’ll soon take the lead.”….. “Except when you don’t. Because sometime you won’t.”
[tweet_box design=”default” float=”none”]”with our head full of brains and your shoes full of feet, you’re too smart to go down any not-so-good street.” Dr Seuss[/tweet_box]

Love all the Dr. Suess books of wisdom. Little more involved than say Aesop’s Fables., but memorable and funny, that hits right to the kid in me.
Thanks for sharing this.
