This vibrant color makes us feel luxurious and rich! Purple combines the energy of red and the calmness of blue. It is furthermore associated with spirituality and the higher self. Purple’s elite status stems from the rarity and cost of the dye originally used to produce it.

Historically purple is considered the color of royalty. Purple was expensive and as a result only the wealthiest people could afford purple garments. In fact, Queen Elizabeth the First had forbid anyone except close members of the royal family to wear it. To get one ounce of purple fabric, the mucus from 336,000 spiney dye-murex snails had to be harvested.

I love working with amethyst. Yes it happens to be purple. More than that though, it speaks to me somehow. It always has. Even before I became an old woman

• Amethyst Geode. I discovered these amazing geodes 2 years ago during the Tucson Gem Show. What a find! Every Geode is one of a kind. They were mined in Uruguay
• Ruby gemstone ring ..2 lab grown rubies..sterling silver from the Dare to Dream collection
• Malachite gemstone ring with Sacred Spiral designed ring shank
• Red Creek Jasper gemstone with Sacred Spiral ring shank. This gem was another of my finds from the Tucson Gem show

Every design is a limited Edition of ONE. The fusing process is like our dreams… it starts with a concept (in this case my idea for the piece) and then it takes its own leap into the final design; one that I could not have imagined or predicted!

These new designs are available with malachite, amethyst, tigers eye or turquoise gemstones. The triangle design features my sprinkled silver process of fusing silver right into the copper. The result is spectacular!

You’ve most likely seen this tag line on my jewelry designs. Did you ever wonder what handmade means? Here’s the official definition: made by hand, not by machine, and typically therefore of superior quality.

Each of my designs starts with metal sheet or wire. I use a variety of tools to texture, fold and mold the metal. Texturing hammers add subtle or bold finishes, depending upon the type chosen

Soldering (joining metal) is an important step in my processes. Here you see the sterling that has been soldered and shaped.. ready for the gemstones to be inserted.

When you purchase a handmade design you have chosen something to be treasured and passed along to future generations. These designs are all created with love and passion. This energy shines through each time you wear your one of a kind jewelry. What could be more special?

I have so much fun creating collections! Once I started designing jewelry, I noticed themes

starting to develop. So I named my first collection and began creating the designs for it. This is when the fun begins for me. I love knowing that when you wear one of my designs, you have a story and an inspiration to accompany it. That way you can be reminded of the sentiment behind the creation of the jewelry design.
