I admit it. I am a little obsessed with Spirals right now. They just fascinate me. Here is one of my latest creations using the spiral. I LOVE IT!
Spirals have been a part of nature since the beginning time. Picture the rings on a tree as it grows. or the Snail (literally a spiral creature)… and of course the milky way. You cannot get more ancient than that.
The way the spiral starts as a smaller tight circle and grows as the circle expands reminds me that every small gesture towards another (the tight circle) will expand to create ripples of joy to so many others.
The spirals are known as symbols for growth and evolution. They have been found in cave carvings too. And NOW they are an integral part of my jewelry design.

Fabulous looks! You’re right, spirals are amazing – often mesmerizing! But I really like what you said here:
“… reminds me that every small gesture towards another (the tight circle) will expand to create ripples of joy to so many others.”
Wonderful analogy!

I like these. It also reminds me of the Indian meditation maze that you walk around.

There have been many spiral type crop circles, of course, and other signs/symbols in the sky. As I see it, the other theories cannot account for that near perfect tight spiral in the sky.
